And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Our Story
An Acts 2 church in every college town -
That’s the vision that drives a lot of what we do as a church.
We started as a campus-focused church a block from UC Berkeley in California. Our first wave of graduates stuck around, and soon, other ministries were started so we could see every believer in our church grow to become ministers of the gospel: to our children, the youth, the elderly, and more! But over the years we've remained true to our roots and focused on college campuses.
In the summer of 2021, a team of volunteers from California and Texas moved to the East Coast with a vision of starting an Acts 2 church in Boston. For many of us, college was a transformative time. Jesus’ all-consuming call to go make disciples grabbed a hold of our hearts as we experienced the power of God’s word and the richness of a biblical community. So we’re here, excited to see how God will work to replicate the patterns of the early church in the lives of college students in New England and beyond!

Manny and Sunny Kim have been faithfully serving in college ministry for over 25 years. They have 2 daughters, Corrie and Naomi. Manny and Sunny oversee the Gracepoint churches in the Boston area and across the Northeast region.
